Our mission is to raise sociologists who have received up-to-date and international knowledge and skills in the field of sociology and social sciences in general and who have theoretical and empirical training to understand and solve the social problems of Turkey, its region and the world, ethical conscience, understanding and critical thinking.
Our vision is to continuously develop the up-to-date and comprehensive framework for sociological education in order to raise the sociologists who can apply the sociological concepts, theories and research practices that enable them to understand the complex nature of social relations and provide in-depth and critical thinking about these relations to the social issues at the national and international levels and to Samsun and its surroundings.
